Neville III

Seit ein paar Tagen bin ich nun wieder auf der Ranch in Neville.
Nach all den Extremen, nach Hitze und Trockenheit, nach Tropen und Wüste, nach Bergen und Ocean ist New South Wales dem Europäischen in mir wohl am nächsten.

Ich bekomme ein wenig Einblick ins australische Farmerleben, konnte ein wenig helfen und lernen.
Bemerke wo ich sehr deutsch und ... ja! ... inzwischen auch schweizerisch bin.

Der Versuch Zusammenhänge zu verstehen und auszudrücken generiert zwangsläufig Fehler.

So versuche ich manchmal gar nicht zu verstehen ... ich schaue einfach, bemerke, wie das Licht sich verändert und die Stimmungen um mich herum ... hole meinen Photoapparat und gehe raus.

Um dann doch wieder nachzudenken über das Licht und die Farbe ...

Since a few days on the ranch in Neville again.
After all this extremes, this heat and drought, after tropic and desert, from oceans to mountains, New South Wales is the European in me probably the closest.

I get a little inside the Australian farm life, was able to help a little.
Recognized where I`m very German and ... yes! ... now also Swiss.

Trying to understand and to express relationships generates inevitably errors.

So sometimes I not even try to understand ... just have a look, notice how the light changed and the moods around me ... get my camera and go out.

Nevertheless thinking about light and color ...

Ich mag die Farben und wenn ich meine Sonnenbrille aufhaben (... und ich hasse Sonnenbrillen!!) dann bekommt alles einen anderen Kontrast, die Farben grenzen sich deutlicher von einander ab, dadurch entsteht eine Art von "Farbtiefe", die meine kleine Nikon in einem ihrer Filterprogramme ähnlich herstellen kann.

I like the colors and when ich set my sunglasses on, (and I hate sunglasses!!) everything get a deeper contrast, the colors delimit to each other, this makes a kind of "color deepness", which my little Nikon is able to reproduce with its filter program equivalent. 

Farbe ist nie unabhängig von Form und Struktur, von Richtung und Schatten.
Color is never independent from form and structure, from direction and shade.

Schwarz und weiss, der Kontrast der Kontraste, durch meine Sehgewohnheit verschmilzt er zu einem ganz normalen Bild.
Black and white, the contrast of all contrasts, caused by my viewing habits melting together in a normal picture.

Struktur ist auch, wenn man aus 15m Entfernung an der Farbe und Form noch die Wolligkeit erfühlen kann.
Structure is even, if you are able to feel, with the help of color and form, from 15 m distance, the woolliness.

... oder das Stachlige der Kiefernnadeln.
... or the spiny of the pine needles.

... oder beides zusammen.
... or both together.

... lassen wir die Farbe mal weg ... es wird noch es rauer und trockener ...
... we let the color away for a moment ... it becomes more rough and dry ...

... und wenn wir sie wieder reintun, kann man plötzlich die Rinde riechen ...
... and if we put it in again, you suddenly smell the bark ...

... oder aufhören nachzudenken und den Lämmern beim Klettern auf den Baumstämmen zugucken.
... or we stop thinking about and just watch the lambs climbing on the bole.

... ach ja, ... und dann gabs noch 11 mm Niederschlag heute.
